The Greenville Tournament has been rescheduled for Sat., February 20, 2010. New schedules and home base assignments will be released soon- rooms have changed. Please discard old schedules.
Dear Coaches,
We have decided to cancel the Greenville Regional Tournament schedule for tomorrow. At this time we are working to schedule another date for this tournament. We are looking at two possible dates: February 20th and March 27. If these two dates will not work for you team we will work with you to schedule your team for a different region. However, we would like all teams to work with us to make these dates work as our other tournaments are very close to being full. The only other possible tournaments to attend are Buies Creek and Kinston.
It still is possible that the Greenville tournament will NOT be rescheduled and we will have to move all teams to a different regional. Again, the most likely being Kinston or Buies Creek. We hope to reschedule Greenville. Please understand that with 46 events that this is a massive amount of work to reschedule a tournament. I would suggest contacting all of your parents once the tournament is rescheduled and have them volunteer to help assist running events at the Greenville Tournament. This will help Nancy a lot in the event that current volunteers and event leaders are no longer able to assist with the tournament.
We will update you on our progress as soon as we know so please continue to check the Greenville Tournament Page for updated. We are being inundated with call so please use this site to find information before calling.

We are monitoring the possible weather situation for this weekend. Currently, there are a lot of unknowns associated with this system and we will wait to make any decisions related to possible delay or cancellation of this tournament until Friday afternoon when the meteorologists have a much better understanding of what we can expect in the way of snow or ice.
Beginning Fri. morning we will begin posting our thoughts about the Sat. tournament under the announcements on the Greenville Regional page: http://www.sciencenc.com/Tournament_information/Greenville/Greenville.cfm We may wait to make a FINAL decision around 4 AM on Sat. morning depending on predictions. We do NOT want to cancel or delay this tournament if at all possible. At the same time, we want to make the right decision regarding safety of travel for all schools.
If for some reason we decide to hold the tournament and your school principal decides that it is not safe for your team to travel then we will have to move your team to compete in a different region. Most likely Kinston or Buies Creek (since these are the only locations that have available space).
We will try to keep you updated as we learn more about this system with all hopes of running a successful tournament on Saturday.
