**There was a scoring error for Meteorology. Cannon School was accidentally given 9th place when they were actually 3rd place overall in the event. Since Sun Valley JV1 actually got 2nd place overall this means that Cannon School should have received 2nd place Silver Medals for this event. Also, Rockingham Varsity should have received 3rd place Bronze Medals for the same reason. These medals will be sent to the school. This error did not impact overall rankings. We apologize for this error.

Dear Coach
We want to officially welcome you to the North Carolina Regional Olympiad that will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian College on February 20th. We are excited about the rapidly approaching event and hope all the preparations with your team(s) are going smoothly.
We also hope the weatherman will smile on us; however, should weather become a question call (910) 277-5252. A recorded message on Dr. Mortonss phone will give the weather status of the Olympiad. If we have weather problems the final decision will be made no later than 4:00 a.m. on the 20th. Of course our goal is to have the event as scheduled.
To help the event run as smoothly as possible we want to make you aware of some things, as well as put additional information in your hands:
Dr. Michael Morton and I (Rooney Coffman) are looking forward to seeing each of you at the Olympiad and wish your team the best of luck (and skill).
If you have any questions, Dr. Morton can be reached at mortonms@sapc.edu and Rooney Coffman at rcoffman@sapc.edu.
