Lining up the tape on the fins
Ready to launch!
It is important to record conditions for each launch (how much water, how you folded the parachute, wind, time aloft, height achieved, straightness of flight, etc) so you can learn from each attempt and repeat what works and improve on what didn't.
Setting the launcher, double checking the release plate
Measuring the bottle's circumference and marking thirds for even fin distribution
It is very important to know how much water your rocket needs for optimum flight. Mark it directly on your rocket, or bring your own measuring cup. Event leaders are NOT required to supply one for you.
An excellent launch and successful opening of the parachute
