Description: This event will be a station format or a test format with a book of images/ PowerPoint presentation. The station format could involve both images and specimens. Students will be asked to answer questions (formats: multiple choice, fill in the blank, true/false, and shor answer) including, but not limited to, identification of invasive species, ecological factors, history, distribution and control methods about invasives that are part of the official North Carolina Invasives Species List.
Materials: Teams must bring a writing utensil. They may also bring one 3-ring binder (any size) with information in any form from any source, as long as the pages are secured in the rings.
Scoring: High score wins. Points are awarded for the quality and accuracy of responses. Predetermined questions will be used to break ties.
