Something to write with.
Students will demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the geologic characteristics and evolution of Earth’s moon and other rocky bodies of the solar system. This event is usually done as a sit-down test taking event. It is also possible that the test be given inside a planetarium, or as a powerpoint where teams view slides and answer questions in a test book based on the slides. Teams may be viewing any combination of models, pictures, diagrams/charts, or recorded/written descriptions. They will then be asked to answer questions (multiple choice, fill in the blank, short answer, etc) related to the materials.
Students must bring something to write with. They may also bring 2 8.5″x11″ sheets of paper with any information from any source.
High Score wins.
