Good morning everyone,
I hope that you and your kids had a great day on Saturday at the tournament, I heard nothing but good things afterwards!
Here are the scores for every event. The only note is that there was a tie in Pasta Tower for Second place, but our scoring system doesn’t allow for ties, so Roaring River – we know you took second as well! We have never had 2 towers from two different schools weigh exactly the same and have the same efficiency, so congrats on a new record, we will be adding another tie breaker to the rules this year because of you!
If you have any questions about the scores, please let Angie & I know, I will be happy to look over or explain something to you.
We look forward to having you back next year!

Competition season is approaching quickly and it is time for the emails to begin! Please bear with the length of this email and read all the way through as each part includes important information regarding forms and Avogadro.
At some point today, everyone will receive a google form with permission/photo consent information in it. Every student on the team must have this form on file to compete. If Google Forms are new to you, there is a tutorial video to help you. Here is the link: https://youtu.be/
If some of your parents don’t have internet access, you can use the attached Paper copy, but please limit this unless absolutely necessary. We have to scan every one of these papers and keep them and with 18,000 students participating this year, it’s a bit overwhelming and cumbersome.
As in years past we will be using Avogadro for scoring and team member registration. If you have not tried to log in to Avogadro yet, please do so today! Here is the website: https://app.avogadro.
Your login is your username (not your email address), which I will send you individually later today. I have attached the user manual to this email, and here is the link for a video to help you get started on this: https://youtu.be/

Do not worry about the self-scheduling portion listed in the video and in the document – that has been taken care of by NCSO Staff as you do not have walk-in events.
You will need to turn in the Vandalism & Behavior form signed by you, your principal, and your students when you check into the competition. 1 per team. This form is attached and can also be found on the website.
If you have any questions feel free to email me back!
